Education and Training – Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects. Required knowledge/skills/abilities: Knowledge of NCAA, conference, and NMU compliance rules. Possess a current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire. NCAA learning portal proficiency, or passing within one month of hire. On- and off-campus recruitment of student athletes. No prior involvement with NCAA major rules violations. Demonstrated commitment to the academic success of student athletes. Demonstrated successful basketball coaching experience as a head coach or an assistant coach at the professional level, the NCAA Division I, II or III level, or as a head coach at the NAIA, junior college or high school level. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. The position will direct, organize, coach and administer the Women’s Basketball Program.
